Good afternoon, Columbia! If you’re stepping outside today, you’ll notice that the thick morning fog has cleared up, giving us a delightful blend of clouds and sunshine. It’s one of those beautiful days where we can expect temperatures to soar into the low 80s, making for a lovely afternoon.
Today, we’re looking at highs of around 80-82 degrees. Thanks to high pressure sitting overhead, warmer air is flowing back into the Midlands, which means we can count on some bright and cozy days ahead as we wrap up the work week!
And speaking of the end of the week, we can’t forget that Halloween is just around the corner! With temperatures climbing into the low 80s, it promises to be a warm evening for Trick-or-Treating. Around that time, you can expect temperatures to be comfortably sitting in the 70s, which is perfect for all those little goblins and ghouls out collecting candy!
Tomorrow looks like it’s going to be the warmest day of the week, so if you love the heat, Friday is your day! With highs in the low and mid-80s, it’s a great time to enjoy some time outdoors, maybe take a walk in one of our lovely parks or have a picnic with friends.
As we head into the weekend, get ready for a change. A cold front is expected to come through on Friday night, so we’ll see a drop in temperatures. Saturday is likely to be partly cloudy, with highs cooling into the upper 70s. It’s still pleasant enough to enjoy some fall activities, but don’t forget to grab a light jacket if you’re heading out.
Looking ahead to Sunday, we’ll continue to see partly cloudy skies, and the temperature will settle in the mid-70s. It’ll be a nice way to wrap up the weekend, and hopefully, you’ll get the chance to relaaax before the new week begins.
If you’re thinking about what to do this evening, expect partly cloudy skies with a chance of patchy fog developing closer to daybreak. Lows will dip down into the upper 50s, making for a cool but comfortable night.
So, Columbia, enjoy these warmer days while they last! As we move through the week, keep your plans easy-going, and take advantage of the mild weather for any outdoor activities you have in mind. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or preparing for a spooky Halloween night, we’ve got some delightful days ahead!
Be sure to stay connected and prepared as the weather continues to evolve. Feel free to subscribe to newsletters or stay tuned for updates. Have a fantastic day, Columbia!
