This location is nestled in Charleston at 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, making it a convenient spot for those wishing to pay their respects. Following this gathering, a service will be held at a later date at Cox Funeral Home in Indiana, where Jerad will be laid to rest at Peavey Cemetery located in Jasonville, Indiana.
A Life Full of Passion and Joy
Born on July 16, 2001, in Sullivan, Indiana, Devin was the beloved son of Jerad Rose of Jasonville, IN, and Nikki Miller Garwood of Camden, SC. A proud graduate of Shakamak High School, he was known for his infectious spirit and enthusiastic energy. Devin was more than just a diligent worker with the State Highway Survey Crew in the South Carolina Department of Transportation; he brought joy to his colleagues and friends through his vibrant personality.
Outside of his work, Devin had a multitude of passions that brought happiness to his life. He was known for enjoying playing Pokémon, diving into the realms of Magic, and hitting the golf course. These interests showcased his fun-loving nature and his ability to connect with those around him.
Family and Friends Remembered
Devin leaves behind a loving family that includes his father, Jerad D. Rose from Jasonville, IN, and his mother, Nikki Miller Garwood, along with stepfather Jacob Garwood from Camden, SC. He was also a cherished brother to his sisters Ali Mae Lacer and her husband, Rain Foster of Summerville, Zavery Ruth Cody of Sullivan, Alexis Garwood, and Sierra Garwood, both of Camden, as well as Layla Garwood from Linton, IN. The love and connection shared among these siblings reflect the warmth that Devin brought into their lives.
His legacy continues with his grandmothers, Lavonna Rose from Jasonville, IN, and Angel Cown from Linton, IN. Devin also leaves behind a loving array of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom carry cherished memories of him in their hearts.
Remembering the Lost Loved Ones
While we celebrate Devin’s life, we also remember those who preceded him, including his grandfathers David Dunigan and Robert Cown, as well as great-grandparents Bob and Monna Irons. Their memories serve as a poignant reminder of the connections that bind families together across generations.
