Moon King Entertainment Group has announced that Side Hustle Brewing Co., a popular beer brewing company, is expanding its venture by opening a new Taproom in Bluffton at 10 Buck Island Road.
The Taproom will be open from 3 – 9 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday, 12 – 9 p.m. on Saturdays, and 12 – 6 p.m. on Sundays. Customers can enjoy 10 of Side Hustle’s award-winning craft beers on tap. Additionally, the establishment will also offer 4-packs of their staple brews, namely Fixed Assets and seasonal Variable Assets for to-go purchases.
Lee Holyoak, Director of Brewing Operations, expressed his excitement on the expansion, “We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new Side Hustle Taproom in Bluffton. This space embodies our passion for craft beer and community, and we can’t wait to share our award-winning brews and warm hospitality with everyone.”
The brewing company began crafting beer in Co-founder Holyoak’s garage as a casual hobby. The Side Hustle moniker reflects the relentless work ethic shared by many, combining a passion for brewing with maintaining a full-time career. Through exceptional skill and a successful blend of traditional brewing techniques with innovative flavors, Side Hustle Brewing Co. grew into a full-fledged business.
The Brewmaster’s expertise and innovations have paid off, with Side Hustle Brewing Co. winning several major awards. The brewery bagged the Bronze for Make It Rain in the Juicy/Hazy IPA category and Silver for South Island Pilsner at the 2023 U.S. Open Beer Championships.
The Bluffton Taproom will be located in the old Island Packet newspaper building, adjacent to one of their two brew operations. While there may be plans to offer brewery tours in the future, for now, visitors can relish their favorite brews at the indoor bar with provided entertainment or savor their drinks outside with ample seating.
The establishment will also host food trucks weekly from Friday through Sunday, adding a varied culinary experience to the mix. Side Hustle Brewing Co. will continue to serve its customers at its primary location, The Bank, Hilton Head’s Beer Garden, too.
