Sen. Tim Scott Ties the Knot with Mindy Noce in South Carolina

In an intimate ceremony set within the beautiful confines of Charleston’s Seacoast Church, U.S. Senator Tim Scott, Republican of South Carolina, said “I do” to Mindy Noce last Saturday. The 58-year-old Senator and his bride, aged 47, were surrounded by their nearest and dearest as they embarked on this new chapter amidst joy and blessings.

Church Bells, Promises, and Happy Ever After

Following the ceremony, Sen. Scott took to his personal social media account to announce the exciting news. “Tonight, we promised to cherish and nourish each other and our marriage for the rest of our lives,” Scott posted. “Mindy, you’ve made me the happiest man alive. I love you.”

Scott then drew upon the sacred text of the Bible, quoting Matthew 19:6, “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

An Intimate South Carolina Wedding

Sen. Scott and Mindy Noce exchanged vows in the chapel of the Seacoast Church, where they had met through mutual friends. The ceremony was officiated by the church’s founding pastor and one of Scott’s long-time friends and mentors, Greg Surratt.

The couple shared their first dance to Johnny Rivers’ “Swayin’ to the Music,” a moment that delighted their guests and set the tone for the evening to come.

High-Profile Attendees and Well-Wishes

The wedding was graced by a bevy of political figures, among them were Sen. John Thune, Sen. Lindsey Graham, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and former Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam.

The well-wishes did not stop there. Former President Trump took to his social media platform to congratulate the newlyweds. His message read, “Congratulations to my longtime friend, Senator Tim Scott, and his beautiful bride, Mindy Noce, who were married today in the Great State of South Carolina. You have a GREAT future. God bless you both!”

About The Bride, Mindy Noce

Mindy Noce, an interior designer based in South Carolina, grew up in a military family, with her father serving in the Navy and her brothers attending military school. The soon-to-be Mrs. Scott found her love story taking a romantic turn when mutual church friends set her up on a pickleball date with Sen. Scott.

The couple bundles up their shared enthusiasm for the Bible and pickleball, hinting at the unique and loving bond they share.

A Senator’s Happily Ever After

This union marks a significant milestone in the life of Sen. Tim Scott. Known for his political prowess and dedication to public service, Scott now embarks on a new journey of personal happiness with his bride at his side. His public profession of love and commitment to his new wife offers a truly endearing glimpse into the personal life of a man who is usually in the glaring spotlight of political action.

Joining their lives together in the presence of close friends, family, and the blessings of the highest power, the newlyweds have begun a journey that encourages the blending of their shared love, shared faith, and shared passions into one.
