The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has issued an urgent plea to the public for assistance in locating a missing and endangered 60-year-old man from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The man has been identified as Stanley Kapowski, last seen around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 16.
Mr. Kapowski was last observed leaving a residential address: 226 South Sea Pines Drive. At that time, he was dressed in a Coors Light t-shirt and blue shorts, with no shoes. With a height of approximately six feet and a weight of about 200 pounds, he can also be recognized from his short brown hair.
Given the urgency surrounding his disappearance, BCSO is seeking the community’s help in locating Mr. Kapowski. Anyone who may have relevant information about his current whereabouts is encouraged to contact the non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777.
