Columbia, South Carolina – a joyous community event for animal lovers and craft beer enthusiasts is in the cards this April. Steel Hands Brewing and Columbia Animal Services are teaming up to host a Pups & Pints Adoption event on April 27, 2024.
The day promising fun and companionship will be held at the Steel Hands Brewing facility on Foreman Street, Cayce, starting at 12 p.m. and going up until 3 p.m. This event has been designed with the objective of finding ‘furrever’ homes for dogs in need. In a noted gesture of goodwill, the adoption fees for dogs at the event will be waived, making it easier for attendees to adopt and shower love on the four-legged friends.
Participants are gently reminded to carry along a leash and collar – pertinent accessories to welcome a new member into their family.
The collaboration between Steel Hands Brewing and Columbia Animal Services is a testament to their commitment towards community engagement and charity. Both organizations have been active in carrying out initiatives that benefit society.
Steel Hands Brewing combines its passion for locally brewed craft beer with community undertakings. Beyond their renowned brews, they have always remained committed to “making a difference” in the local community, supporting several projects and events.
Columbia Animal Services on the other hand, as an arm of government services, works tirelessly towards improving animal welfare. Their initiatives include providing shelter and care for homeless animals, facilitating adoptions, and championing responsible pet ownership.
The Pups & Pints Adoption event will not only serve the purpose of rehoming adorable dogs but is also anticipated to create a lively atmosphere with the accompaniment of great beer and good company.
It encourages a sense of community by bringing together people from varying strata of society – united by their love for animals and high-quality craft beer.
Mark your calendars for this remarkable day filled with tail wagging, furry friendships, and frothy pints, embracing the spirit of community, companionship and most importantly, compassion.
