Local teams put their best, or should we say “boiled,” foot forward as they battle it out for the prestigious title of Best Boiled Peanut in South Carolina. Not only is the Palmetto Peanut Boil a day of fun, but it’s also a wonderful opportunity to support a great cause. Animal Mission, a dedicated nonprofit organization, will receive 100% of all proceeds from the festival. Their hard work improves the lives of homeless pets, providing them with spay and neuter vouchers and making improvements at the Columbia Animal Shelter. It’s refreshing to see an event that brings joy to the community while also caring for our furry friends!
