Festivals and Music Make the Month

Musical vibes will be in full swing at the Jam Room Music Festival on Saturday, October 26. Starting at noon on the 1400 Block of Main at Hampton Street, it’s sure to bring energy and excitement into our community. This Saturday, October 12, the Columbia Police Department is hosting its annual Community Chili Cook-Off at Busby Street Community Center. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., come on down to taste some homemade chili while mingling with community members and local law enforcement.

In the spirit of community, the City of Columbia’s Forestry and Beautification Department is seeking nominations for their Treasured Trees Program.
