Northeast Columbia Chick-fil-A Set for Renovations, Reopening Mid-November

Northeast Columbia’s Chick-fil-A to Undergo Exciting Renovations

Hey there, chicken sandwich lovers! If you’re a fan of the Chick-fil-A on Killian Road in northeast Columbia, there’s some news you’ll want to hear. This popular spot is getting a little makeover, and while it might take a few weeks, it’ll be worth the wait!

When Does the Remodeling Start?

According to recent posts shared on social media, the Chick-fil-A located at 405 Killian Road will be closing its doors temporarily at 3 p.m. on October 17. The restaurant is gearing up for renovations that are expected to last a few weeks. You can mark your calendars for the reopening, which is slated for the week of November 11. So, it’s just a short hiatus before you can dive back into your favorite chicken sandwiches!

A Hub of Activity

You may know that the Killian Road location is nestled in the bustling Killian’s Crossing area. This neighborhood is always buzzing with activity, home to a variety of popular businesses including Kroger, Chipotle, Starbucks, and many others. It’s a hotspot for folks in the area, especially with around 38,000 cars daily passing on that stretch of Killian Road as noted by state transportation data!

Chick-fil-A’s Transformation Journey

This isn’t the first time a Chick-fil-A has received a facelift in the Midlands. Over the past couple of years, many locations have undergone improvements, remodels, and even relocations to better serve their loyal customers. For instance, the Chick-fil-A at 2299 Augusta Road in West Columbia just reopened in May 2023 after a three-month remodeling spree! Talk about a commitment to enhanced dining experiences!

That’s not all! Remember the Chick-fil-A at 294 Harbison Blvd? It was completely torn down in 2022 and rebuilt from the ground up, reopening in March 2023. It’s incredible how these restaurants are continually improving to meet the high demand for delicious chicken meals!

Other Recent Changes

The beloved Chick-fil-A on Dutch Fork Road also underwent a remodeling, reopening just last June. And if you shift your gaze to Two Notch Road, the Chick-fil-A there was demolished this year too, but it didn’t take long for a brand-new location to pop back up, aiming to serve customers in innovative ways!

It’s clear that Columbia’s Chick-fil-A locations are on a transformational journey, with many others also enjoying upgrades—like the newly opened spot at 5465 Platt Springs Road in March 2022, replacing an earlier location, and the 5440 Forest Drive site which transformed from an older building to a sleek new eatery that reopened in July.

What to Expect After the Remodel

As we await the grand reopening of the Chick-fil-A on Killian Road, it’s exciting to think about what new features and improvements will be added. Will there be cozy seating areas, maybe a modernized order counter, or some fun new decorations? Whatever it is, we’re sure it will enhance the experience and make it even more enjoyable to savor those crispy chicken sandwiches.

So, mark those calendars, friends! The Chick-fil-A team is busy working on something great. Until then, stay tuned for updates and don’t forget to grab your favorite meal before they close for renovations!
