New Gameday Experiences for Women’s Basketball Fans Announced by South Carolina Gamecocks

COLUMBIA, S.C. – New Gameday Experiences for Women’s Basketball Fans

In an exciting development for fans of women’s basketball, the South Carolina Gamecocks have announced two innovative gameday experiences for the upcoming 2024-25 season. These options aim to enhance the overall experience for families attending the games.

What’s New?

The new offerings include Dawn’s Day Care, a dedicated kids play area, and a special brunch feature available during selected games. Both initiatives cater to fans and their families, allowing them to enjoy the game while providing fun activities for children.

Dawn’s Day Care Details

Starting with the first home game on November 14, 2024, against Coppin State, the Dawn’s Day Care will be available for two games this season. This special space will be located in the McGuire Club, where children can engage in various activities like inflatables, bracelet and necklace making, poster creation, and more. Unlike traditional daycare facilities, admission to this play area is free, though parents must supervise their children. They can also watch the game through windows that overlook the court.

Dawn’s Day Care will also be available during the game against USF on December 15, 2024.

Brunch for Game Day

Another exciting addition is the brunch option available for four selected games this season. Fans can enjoy a delicious buffet featuring bottomless mimosas and bloody marys, along with a variety of breakfast and lunch items, such as chicken and waffles, a bagel and lox board, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, and a selection of pastries. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided.

This special brunch will be served in the McGuire Club during the games against East Carolina (November 17), Auburn (February 2), UConn (February 16), and Kentucky (March 2). The brunch begins as doors open and concludes at halftime. Tickets for the brunch are now available: $75 per adult and $25 per child under 12 for each game, or $275 for a four-game package.

Additional Innovations

These offerings follow the earlier introduction of the Fast Break Pass, an add-on feature allowing fans to bypass long lines at the entrance and concessions. This digital ticket, priced at $100 for the season or $12-$20 for individual games, grants access to the arena 30 minutes before doors open for general ticket holders. Season and single-game Fast Break Passes for games in November are already on sale, with December passes set for release on November 15.

Upcoming Game Schedule

The Gamecocks are gearing up for their first action of the season on November 10, 2024, against the No. 9/8 NC State at the Ally Tipoff event in Charlotte. Fans can expect a thrilling atmosphere as they return to Colonial Life Arena for their home opener on November 14, with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m..
