Nashville Nights Concert Series to Unveil Future Country Stars in Lexington

Over the recent years, Lexington has steadily cultivated a reputation as a thriving hub for budding country music talents, thanks to the ongoing concert series Nashville Nights. Held at Steel Hands Brewing on Foreman Street in Cayce, the event has been instrumental in introducing fresh faces in the country music scene to an ever-receptive audience.

Weekly Concerts Showcasing Upcoming Talent

In a bid to provide a platform for the potentially acclaimed country musicians, Steel Hands Brewing hosts a concert every Friday night as a part of Nashville Nights series, presented by Jim Hudson Audi. The series kicks off this weekend and will run until August 16. Concerts typically start at 6 pm and go until about 9:30 pm. The event provides an advantage of being free while offering a range of food and beverage options.

This Friday’s lineup features Nate Frederick & The Wholesome Boys, a pure country group based in Nashville. As a flavor of their upcoming performances, the group will debut the Nashville Nights Iced Tea Ale along with an offering of hot chicken sandwiches and ribs straight off the grill. Additionally, upcoming series includes live performances by solo artist like Bre Kennedy, Gabe Lee, and Kenny Foster, as well as full band shows by Paul McDonald & The Mourning Doves and Lady Couch.

Inspiration Behind the Concert Series

The Nashville Nights concert series owes its inception to former DJ and S.C. singer/songwriter Michael Haney, who now spends most of his time in Nashville. Haney, moved by the desire to give back to his community and expose the locally discovered talent in the Music City, collaborated with Steel Hands Brewing to curate this unique experience for fans, celebrating song-writing and honoring the legacy of the art for the genre’s future.

“The Carolinas’ rich musical history and love of music made it an exciting endeavor to pool in talent from Music City. Being able to bring some of the best established and emergent songwriters back home has been rewarding,” Haney remarked, expressing his honor of partnering with Steel Hands Brewing for the third consecutive year and his optimism in nurturing the music scene further.

Unlike the usual arena or stadium concerts, the Nashville Nights series provides an intimate experience for the audiences. The setup insists on keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun while establishing a deeper connection with the artists, making it a unique hub for unearthing the future big names in country music.
