Search Underway for Missing 16-Year-old Girl in Columbia, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Richland County Sheriff’s Department is on an active search for a teenage girl who disappeared on Sunday. As described in a department news release, Zaniyah Bowman was last seen on the 300 block of Saluda River Road in Columbia.

Last Seen Communicating with an Adult Male

In a concerning development, deputies have indicated that Bowman was believed to be communicating with an adult man before she reportedly ran away from her home.
