Born on July 16, 2001, in Sullivan, Indiana, Jerad was raised by his father, Jerad Rose, and his mother, Nikki Miller Garwood, who resides in Camden, SC. He graduated from Shakamak High School and made a name for himself in the community by working with the State Highway Survey Crew under the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
Jerad was known for his infectious smile and a heart full of kindness. He had a passion for games, often found indulging in Pokémon and Magic, and he also enjoyed hitting the golf course. It’s no surprise to hear that he spent his free time breaking into laughter with family and friends while sharing his love for these activities.
Family and Friends Left Behind
Jerad is survived by a loving family who will carry on his spirit. His father, Jerad D. Rose, resides in Jasonville, and his mother, Nikki Miller Garwood, and stepfather, Jacob Garwood, are based in Camden, SC. He leaves behind several sisters: Ali Mae Lacer (and brother-in-law Rain Foster) and Zavery Ruth Cody in Indiana, and the Garwood sisters: Alexis, Sierra, and Layla. The family is rounded out by grandmothers Lavonna Rose and Angel Cown, who will surely feel his absence deeply.
Caring relatives, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, also mourn Jerad’s loss. Cherished memories will keep him alive in their hearts for years to come. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Dunigan and Robert Cown, as well as great-grandparents Bob and Monna Irons, all of whom are now reunited.
