Last weekend marked the soft opening of Lexington Paintball, and it’s already creating quite a buzz!

Where It All Began

Located at 1789 Two Notch Rd., Lexington Paintball is the brainchild of Eli Lykes, a retired Army veteran and proud lifelong resident of Columbia. Eli’s mission? To create a place where families, friends, and even work teams can come together for some friendly rivalry and unforgettable memories.

“Come out and play, bring the kids and family members, or business organizations who would like to do team-building events… this is something for all different age groups,” Eli explained passionately about his vision for the paintball business.

Hours and Reservations

Lexington Paintball is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and they operate on a reservation-only basis from Monday to Friday. On the weekends, guests can simply show up and dive right into the action. Whether you’re an individual player eager to join a team or a group wanting to book an entire session, there’s something for everyone!

What Awaits You?

Currently utilizing approximately 2.5 acres of their 15-acre property, Lexington Paintball features two operational paintball fields where around 50-60 players can battle it out at the same time. “In the future, we might expand and create another field within the wooded area of the property,” Eli shared, hinting at exciting developments to come.

If you’re new to paintball and worried about not having your own gear, don’t sweat it! Guests can rent everything they need, from paintball markers to protective equipment—all available on-site for your convenience. Plus, there are a variety of packages that cater to different preferences, making it easy to pick one that suits your needs. If you’re planning a larger gathering, group pricing is also available!

Day One Success

Even though it’s only been about a week since Lexington Paintball opened its doors, the community’s response has been overwhelmingly positive. “It’s very exciting just to see the people booking their reservations and the smiles on their faces when they come out. It’s a good feeling,” Eli mentioned with a proud smile. After working diligently for around six to eight months to get the business off the ground, it’s heartwarming to finally see his dream come to life.
