This lively event, located on the vibrant streets of State and Meeting, promises a day filled with fun, creativity, and a splash of fantasy!
The festivities will kick off at 11 AM with the much-anticipated Kinetic Sculpture Parade. Participants will dazzle the crowd by parading their unique kinetic sculptures while dressed as their favorite fantasy characters—think wizards, fairies, and mythical beasts! It’s everyone’s chance to let their creativity flow and transport us into the magical worlds we adore.
If that’s not enough to get you excited, the soapbox racing is set to begin at 11:30 AM. This is where teams put their engineering skills to the test as they zoom down the course in their homemade vehicles, competing for glory and a chance to take home some awesome trophies!
Meanwhile, State Street will transform into a haven for young minds with the iMAGINE STEAM Festival. This engaging festival focuses on encouraging children and families to explore the fascinating worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). Interactive booths will provide hands-on activities that ignite curiosity and creativity—certainly a perfect way to keep the kiddos entertained while learning!
Across the event area, expect a variety of exciting competitions and activities for all ages. Teams are invited to unleash their imagination as they build unique vehicles and art installations that showcase their talents and themes. With around 20 vendors setting up shop, attendees can browse and purchase a wide array of handmade arts and crafts while supporting local artisans.
But that’s not all! The event will feature a giant slide and a delightful Ferris wheel, both free for attendees of all ages. You can soak in the sun, enjoy the company of friends and family, and feel the thrill of the rides!
Food lovers will rejoice at the food truck rally, offering a smorgasbord of diverse food options that will satisfy every craving. You’ll find everything from savory snacks to sweet treats, making it a true feast for the senses!
