Island Jam Festival Returns to Hilton Head Island
The popular music festival, Island Jam, will be making a triumphant return to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina this September for the second time ever. The revelry, scheduled to run for five full days, promises plenty of fun experiences, including 20 shows featuring a lineup of 30 different music artists.
A Diverse Mixture of Artistes
The participating list of performers is diverse, with some like LoCash, Jeffrey Steele, and Earl Bud Lee hailing from Nashville, while others are homegrown talents from Hilton Head itself. According to Natalie Harvey, the director of Cultural Affairs, with such an array of artists, there would be something for everyone’s musical taste.
Venue Variety and Connectivity
The Festival’s activities will be spread across eight different venues, ranging from the cozy Jazz Corner for an evening of intimate performances and dinner, to the expansive Liberty Oak at Harbor Town. Harvey stated that beyond just leisure, the goal of the event is to infuse a sense of energy and connectedness in the community, especially with summer coming to a close.
“Summer is really winding up here on Hilton Head Island, and September is a great time to be here,” Harvey explained, “It’s also a great opportunity for our island residents to get back out and reconnect with one another after a really busy summer.”
Festival and Community Building
She continued, “We kind of look at this songwriter’s festival as being the first of many great events that build our community here on Hilton Head.” The Island Jam Festival will commence from Sept. 18 and wrap up on Sept. 22.
