Japanese Import Car enthusiasts will love the special Drive-In event running from 9:00 a.m. until noon, showcasing a variety of Japanese import vehicles. Top participants will walk away with gift certificates from Camon Japanese Restaurant! Don’t forget, each car show participant must register by March 1 to be part of the excitement.
Throughout the park, the Japan America Association of South Carolina will be on hand with informative booths and engaging educational opportunities, while Make Us Visible SC has a fun children’s coloring station, alongside Artistic Aspirations of Irmo offering creative crafts for kids.
Further enriching the festival, the Mid-Carolina Camellia Society will share information on camellias and Ikebana International Chapter 183 will present a lovely flower-arranging station to inspire floral creativity among guests. And to top it off, March 22 is officially designated as Cherry Blossom Day in Irmo, as proclaimed by Mayor Bill Danielson!
