Car flipped on road.
According to Irmo Fire District (IFD), a single vehicle hit a tree, leading to it overturning and landing on its roof in the middle of the road. The authority reported that no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The accident resulted in the road being blocked for a considerable period, causing temporary traffic disruption in the area. The IFD has since announced that the roadway is now open again for public use.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. Thanks to the deployment of airbags and the use of seatbelts, the driver managed to escape more serious harm, as reported by IFD. The condition of the driver was promptly assessed in the aftermath of the accident.
