Columbia, S.C.: Community Comes Together for Hurricane Helene Relief

In the wake of the devastating impact caused by Hurricane Helene, the spirit of community and generosity shines brightly in Columbia, South Carolina. A Grateful Response to Catastrophe

Georgia Mjartan, the president and CEO of the Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the immense support the organization has received from both the public and private sectors. “Many residents are facing unprecedented losses,” Mjartan stated, adding, “the immediate and long-term support from the corporate and philanthropic community is truly appreciated during these difficult times.” Her words reflect the nobility and determination of those helping to restore hope and stability in the aftermath of the storm.
