Recent updates from the Richland County Recreation Commission suggest that the pool could be ready to dive into next spring!

Renovations Are Making Waves!

During a recent meeting, the commission got the scoop on numerous community projects, with the pool renovations taking center stage. LinRick golf course. Former Columbia Mayor Bob Coble stepped in to discuss the decision, revealing that they aimed to spend a handsome sum of up to $175,000.

Coble mentioned that the plan includes spreading out the payments over the coming years. This smart financial move will ease the impact on the recreation commission’s budget while simultaneously ensuring that golf lovers continue to enjoy a high-quality gaming experience. “It’s a very successful golf course. And it’s a recreational feature that people want. I think that’s just part of the mission of the recreation commission,” he emphasized. To say that the golf course is successful would be an understatement, and the new carts are bound to make the golfing experience even more enjoyable!
