Hilton Head Island’s beloved Island Jam music festival is returning for its second year this coming September. Spanning five full days, the festival will showcase 30 different music artists across 20 diverse shows.
Artists from all over the country, including renowned names like LoCash, Jeffrey Steele, and Earl Bud Lee from Nashville, are set to take the stage. In addition, local talent from Hilton Head itself will be sharing the spotlight, ensuring a wide range of musical styles and experiences.
The event will take place at eight distinct venues, according to Natalie Harvey, the director of Cultural Affairs. The venues vary in size and setting, ranging from the intimate Jazz Corner, which will offer an evening complete with dinner, to the Liberty Oak situated at Harbor Town.
With summer winding down, the festival aims to bring life to the fall season of the Lowcountry. “September is a great time to be here,” Harvey commented, noting that the festival provides a unique opportunity for island residents to reconnect after a busy summer season.
She also emphasized the festival’s role in the community, stating, “We kind of look at this songwriter’s festival as being the first of many great events that builds our community here on Hilton Head.”
The Island Jam music festival will run from September 18 to September 22. For more information about the festival, including specific locations, scheduling and ticketing details, interested individuals can visit the festival’s official website at hiltonheadislandjam.com.
