Hilton Head Island, S.C – The Mayor of Hilton Head Island, Alan Perry, has officially rescinded the state of emergency in the town, effective as of 9:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. This comes after the community experienced significant impact from Tropical Storm Debby over the past several days.

Mayor Perry’s announcement signals a return to normal business operations within the town. The transition emerges as a significant step towards recovery, with a focus now shifting towards restoration and damage assessment post-Tropical Storm Debby.

Life Resumes as Normal Post-Tropical Storm Debby
