The month of September kicked off an exciting lineup of events. The 37th Annual Greek Festival at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church from September 19-22 invites you to indulge in mouth-watering Greek cuisine, delightful music, and a vibrant atmosphere – all for free! Who can resist that?
Then, on September 21, you can take part in Jubilee: Festival of Black History & Culture at the Mann-Simons Site. This all-day event features live entertainment from headliner Sunshine Anderson, artist demonstrations, and even a few historic stories to tell! Best of all, it’s entirely free.
If you love reading, don’t miss the Fall Literary Festival running from September 25 through October 23 at Capstone Hall and All Good Books. Meet acclaimed authors like Jesmyn Ward and Walter Mosley during readings and signings – all totally free of charge!
