Columbia Welcomes National Brewery, Wine Bar, and Asian Fusion Restaurant to Downtown

A national brewery, a boutique wine bar, and an Asian fusion restaurant are set to bring a fresh wave of flavors and experiences to downtown Columbia. The latest additions are part of a redevelopment project at 102 W. Main Street in Lexington, marking a significant expansion in the city’s culinary and beverage scene.

Exciting Developments in Downtown Columbia

Trinity Partners recently announced that the space at 102 W. Main Street in Lexington is fully leased, with three distinct establishments ready to make their mark. The project, overseen by Braden Shockley and Roger Winn, encompasses three buildings totaling 8,720 square feet. Each building is being revamped to include a new exterior facade, enhanced landscaping, dedicated patio areas, and a new parking lot, all aimed at revitalizing the heart of downtown Lexington.

Voodoo Brewing Co. to Offer Craft Beer and Food Options

Leading the way is Voodoo Brewing Co., a national brewery known for its craft beers and diverse food offerings. With 10 successful locations across the United States, Voodoo Brewing Co. has leased Building 1, totaling 4,491 square feet. The brewery is expected to bring its unique blend of flavors and vibrant atmosphere to the space later this year, offering Columbia residents and visitors a new destination for quality brews and delicious bites.

Molto Vino: A Boutique Wine Bar Expansion

Building 2 will be home to Molto Vino, a boutique wine bar set to occupy 2,123 square feet in the first quarter of 2024. With an existing location in Forest Acres, Columbia, Molto Vino is expanding its footprint to downtown Lexington, catering to wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs looking for a cozy and intimate setting to enjoy fine wines. JP Scurry of Crosland Barnes Group was instrumental in securing the lease for Molto Vino, paving the way for a new wine experience in the Midlands.

TakoSushi: Fusion Cuisine at Its Best

Completing the trio of establishments is TakoSushi, a full-service restaurant specializing in cuisine inspired by the southwestern U.S. and Eastern Asia. With five locations in South Carolina and Georgia, TakoSushi has leased 2,106 square feet in Building 3 and is expected to open its doors in the second quarter of 2024. The restaurant’s innovative fusion dishes and vibrant ambiance are set to add a unique culinary dimension to the downtown dining scene.

A Vibrant Culinary and Beverage Scene Awaits

The arrival of these three new establishments signifies a significant step forward for downtown Columbia, with a diverse array of culinary offerings poised to cater to residents and visitors alike. The mix of a national brewery, boutique wine bar, and fusion restaurant showcases the city’s evolving food and beverage landscape, providing exciting new options for patrons seeking memorable dining and drinking experiences.
