The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department has launched a death investigation following a house fire in Lexington. Lexington County Fire Service discovered a body while responding to an overnight fire at a home in the 200 block of Oak Ridge Lane. The identity of the deceased individuals is yet to be disclosed.
According to authorities, in addition to the deceased, a man was found in a shed on the premises with multiple injuries. He has been transported to a local hospital where he is receiving treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
