Community Unites in Search for Missing Broadway Star in Irmo, S.C.
IRMO, S.C. — In a heartwarming display of solidarity, the family and dance community of Zelig Williams, a well-loved Broadway star who disappeared earlier this month, gathered together to support each other and keep hope alive. On a recent evening, they held a candlelight vigil that melted hearts and sparked inspiration among those present.

The search for Zelig began on October 3rd when his car was discovered abandoned at Congaree National Park. Since then, a wave of concern has washed over Irmo, and a determined effort to locate him has emerged. Friends, family, and members of The Southern Strutt Dance, Zelig’s home away from home, came together to not only remember him but to channel their anguish into action.
As evening fell and the sun dipped beyond the horizon, the crowd lit candles and formed a large circle. Holding hands, they all joined in a chant of “Bring Zelig Home.” The atmosphere was radiant, filled with love and the gentle glow of candlelight.
