Bring your chairs, your flags, and a big ole’ smile because this is a day dedicated to celebrating our veterans.
Can’t make it to the parade in person? No problem! You’ll be able to tune in and watch the parade live either on television or online starting at 11 a.m.. So whether you’re stuck at work or at home, you can still join in on the fun and salute our brave men and women in uniform!
With this exciting event comes some road closures. If you plan on driving through the area, here’s a list of roads you’ll want to avoid:
Starting as early as 7:30 a.m., Sumter St. between Hampton St. and Lady St. will be closed. So if you need to travel in that direction, be sure to plan ahead!
