Mission BBQ Area Director, Thayer Sheets, expressed gratitude to the first responders saying, “It is because of these heroes that we gather today, all of you, so that we may never forget and always remember. For this we humbly thank you for all that you do every single day.”

The restaurant regularly donates to local organizations such as the SC State Firefighters Association, the SC Law Enforcement Association, and the Muller Memorial Collection among many others. During the event, attendees also had the opportunity to browse a table filled with hats for sale, all proceeds going toward the Muller Memorial Foundation, further emphasizing the spirit of community support.
