Columbia Man Sentenced to Over Seven Years in Prison

But that wasn’t the end of it. In July 2021, investigators with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that contained Lewis. Surprisingly, he attempted to reach for a loaded .22 caliber pistol concealed in his waistband. The pistol was equipped with a large-capacity ammunition magazine, which further complicated matters. Authorities had to resort to restraining him after realizing the danger he posed. A search revealed that he also had around 65 grams of methamphetamine, another serious charge to add to his already lengthy rap sheet.
