The roots of this organization run deep, dating all the way back to 1934 when it first started under the name of the South Carolina Independent Telephone Association. Over the decades, the organization has had several name changes reflecting its evolution, but the mission has always remained the same: ensuring that everyone in South Carolina stays connected.
