On one stage at the Koger Center for the Arts, the city of Columbia, SC presents a global cultural event, displaying a mix of local Midlands talent and renowned international artists. The highlighted performers of this extraordinary event are dancers from the Columbia Classical Ballet.
Brooklyn Mack, the Artistic Director and Midlands native, returned to his home company after achieving international recognition. The ballet maestro explained the uniqueness of Columbia Classical Ballet and how it offers budding talents an exposure to the world of classical dance.
Besides supporting local talents, Mack’s annual project, the LifeChance Gala of the Stars, provides a global stage for artists. He collaborates with dancers from around the world, arranging for their visit to Soda City for the grand performance.
The rare performance not only offers a mesmerizing treat to the eyes but also supports a noble cause. The LifeChance Gala of the Stars is a unique charity event that benefits different non-profit organizations every year.
The Columbia Classical Ballet’s LifeChance Gala of the Stars is scheduled to take place on March 30 at 7:30 pm at Koger Center for the Arts.
