City of Columbia Hosts Book Drive for “Little Libraries” Initiative Launch

The book drive, which is due to run from Thursday, July 11, through Wednesday, July 31, is an invitation for all residents to donate gently used books for children and young adults. For those eager to participate in this charitable initiative, the city has designated convenient donation spots throughout the city. The primary collection point is situated at the City of Columbia City Hall, located at 1737 Main Street, welcoming all book donations, from fables to academic books.

Little Libraries Set Up

In an impressive display of creativity, youthful participants from the local youth groups of the City of Columbia Parks have been busy transforming up-cycled newspaper boxes into charming Little Libraries.
