Colorful Festivities Await in Columbia with Spring Carnival, Kinetic Derby Day and Charity Walk

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Make way for a vibrant weekend as Meadowfield Elementary School announces its annual Spring Carnival. Scheduled for this Saturday, the event will commence at noon featuring a range of games, bounce houses, petting zoo, and food vendors. Pre-booking for wristbands is now open for $15, while on-the-spot purchases will be set at $20.

Spring Carnival: A Day Full of Fun

From interactive games to exciting attractions and a variety of food stalls, the Spring Carnival promises a day of fun and entertainment. The unique combo of bounce houses and petting zoo is set to keep the children engaged, whilst the food vendors ensure a gastronomical delight for attendees.

Kinetic Derby Day: Creativity on Wheels

Following the Spring Carnival, the stage is set for the annual Kinetic Derby Day on the next Saturday, April 20. Scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event will take place on State and Meeting Streets in West Columbia. Pathways to Healing’s Walk A Mile In Our Shoes: Marching for a Cause

As April proceeds, the community gears up for Pathways to Healing’s annual charity walk – Walk A Mile In Our Shoes. Kicking off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at the Statehouse, the event motivates participants to don their best heels and walk for a noble cause. The initiative aims to raise 90 thousand dollars to support survivors of sexual violence and their family members.
