Cayce Brings Holiday Cheer with Exciting Christmas Celebrations This December

Hello, Cayce! It’s That Time of Year Again!

Christmas spirit is about to sparkle through the streets of Cayce, South Carolina! The beloved tradition of Christmas in Cayce is making a grand comeback this December, full of festivities and fun for everyone in the community and beyond. Get ready to embrace the magic that fills the air!

Mark Your Calendars!

The excitement kicks off on Thursday, December 5, with the highly anticipated annual tree lighting ceremony! Gather your loved ones and find a cozy spot at Cayce City Hall at 6 pm. This year’s celebration will shine bright as it features the talented Busbee Creative Arts Academy band, chorus, and dancers, making it a festive treat for all who attend.

Before and after the tree lighting, the Woman’s Club of Cayce will be out collecting donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items for Cayce Cares. The contributions will go a long way in supporting local charities like God’s Helping Hands and the Scooter Scott Project, ensuring many families enjoy a brighter holiday season.

If you can’t be there in person, don’t fret! You’ll be able to watch the magic unfold live on WLTX at 6 pm.

Magic Continues with Carols Along the Riverwalk!

On Friday, December 6, join in on the festive cheer during Carols Along the Riverwalk from 6 pm to 8 pm. Picture this: strolling along the scenic Cayce Riverwalk, sipping delicious hot chocolate, and soaking in the melodies of local holiday music filling the crisp evening air. It’s sure to be a lovely way to kick off your weekend!

Beginning from the N Avenue Entrance (you can’t miss it – just look for the intersection of Axtell and N Avenue), you’ll encounter local church choirs and musicians creating a joyful atmosphere, making it feel like a scene straight out of a holiday movie! Don’t worry about parking; it’s available at Brookland-Cayce High School, along with a complimentary trolley ride to whisk you to the Riverwalk entrance!

Dive into Christmas Traditions!

As the weekend approaches, get ready for a delightful treat at Christmas Traditions: Olde & New on December 7, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Cayce Historical Museum! This charming event promises the sights, sounds, and tastes of Christmas, where each room at the museum will be adorned with beautiful trees and crafts spanning over three centuries!

This is not your average museum visit – expect live entertainment, and a holiday market brimming with unique gifts. With docents dressed in period attire, Santa & Mrs. Claus ready to hear your Christmas wishes, and light refreshments to enjoy, you’ll certainly leave with a heart warmed by the holiday spirit!

The Community Comes Together!

The Christmas in Cayce celebrations beautifully showcase how the community pulls together to spread love and joy during the holiday season. So, grab your family, your friends, and maybe even some neighbors, and head out to join in on the festivities!

Let’s make this holiday season one to remember, celebrating together as a community full of cheer. Ready to create those special memories? We can’t wait to see you there!
