Schools are buzzing with excitement as student-athletes officially sign their letters to commit to their dream colleges. But this year, there’s a twist. The NCAA has decided to shake things up by eliminating the National Letter of Intent (NLI), a practice enjoyed since the 1960s. Instead, student-athletes will sign financial aid agreements with the NCAA.

For our current seniors, today is the day they can sign for basketball and all Division I and Division II sports. If you’re a basketball enthusiast, don’t forget that the early signing period extends until November 20. For our friends in other sports? No worries! They can sign anytime until August 1, 2025. Special shoutout to football players: the Division I early signing period runs from December 4 to 6, with the regular signing periods kicking off on February 5!
