According to the Irmo Fire District, the students had to get on another bus and their time home was delayed. A couple students were transported to a local hospital but are expected to be OK, according to the Irmo Fire District. Parents were warned to not come to the high school to pick up their children.
Incident Details: The Irmo High School bus was involved in a rear-end collision on Tuesday afternoon, causing a delay in the students’ commute home.
Student Safety: While several students were taken to a local hospital for evaluation, authorities have confirmed that they are expected to recover from any injuries sustained in the crash.
Parental Instructions: In light of the situation, parents were advised against going to the high school to collect their children, as alternative arrangements were made for the students’ safe transportation.
