COLUMBIA, S.C. – Police in Columbia are currently on the hunt for an unidentified burglary suspect who allegedly absconded with pre-Civil War era goods worth over $20,000.
According to the Columbia Police Department, the suspect was captured in the act by home surveillance cameras on August 13th. Reportedly, the burglar made off with various items, including silverware dating back to the pre-civil war period.
The Columbia Police Department is requesting assistance from members of the public in identifying and locating the suspect. In their appeal to the community, they encourage anyone with information pertaining to the burglary or the suspect to reach out to Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
