New Quick-Service Bistro to Open onto Columbia’s Main Street
Columbia is all set to welcome a new restaurant to the 1600 block of its bustling Main Street. The new venture, named 1624 Bistro, comes from the well-established LTC Hospitality Group, which already owns a number of popular eateries in the area including The Grand, Smoked, and Hanabi.
1624 Bistro will be conveniently situated at 1624 Main St., neighboring LTC’s The Venue, and directly across from The Nick. In addition to its prime location, the bistro’s unique selling point lies in its dedicated breakfast and lunch menus offering both readily available in-house service and quick, grab-and-go options.
1624 Bistro: A Busy Professional’s Delight
The bistro’s concept aims to cater to the broad and dynamic spectrum of the city’s fast-paced, professional crowd. The food selection ranges from refreshing salads and hot flatbreads to an array of delightful sandwiches – all prepared to be enjoyed either within the premises or on-the-move. David Turner, Vice President of Marketing and Events at LTC, is enthusiastic about the new launch, predicting that 1624 Bistro will form the perfect dining spot for downtown Columbia’s busy professionals.
Opening Dates
Anticipation is already building for the soft launch of 1624 Bistro, scheduled to take place on September 23. This will provide patrons an opportunity to sample the new addition to the Main Street food scene, before the grand opening in October.
