The stunning bride, Courtney Lafaye Floyd, is the daughter of Ms. Mary Lafaye Floyd and Mr. Richard E. B. Floyd. You could feel joy radiating off her as she walked down the aisle, escorted by her proud father. Courtney’s family legacy comes from strong roots; she is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Eugene Lafaye Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herron O’Berry Floyd Jr.. She works at Whit-Ash Furniture Store, making a mark in her community, and it’s no surprise that she is admired by many.
On the other hand, Colin James Comer, the gentleman groom, is the son of Ms. Carolyn Machovina Comer and Mr. Daniel Kelly Comer. Colin comes from a lovely lineage as well, being the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Machovina and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Oslon. He’s carving out his own path as the owner of Comer Landscaping, which has made him a familiar face in Columbia.
The reception that followed was equally delightful, filled with laughter and celebration. The bride’s sister, Catherine Stewart Floyd, stood proudly as the maid of honor, providing support and love alongside her sister on this important day. Bridesmaids included a wonderful group of friends: Megan Crosby, Chelsee Weathersby, Katherine Encinas, and Alexa Napoli, who kept the spirits high throughout the event.
On the groom’s side, his brother Alex Comer took the role of best man. Groomsmen following suit, Mark Comer, Drew Kline, Evans Velasco, and Brett Player were there to lend their support, making sure Colin felt the love from his nearest and dearest.
After the celebrations and a well-deserved honeymoon, this lovely couple will be settling down in Cayce, S.C. The two are excited to embark on this new journey together, merging their lives and dreams into one beautiful adventure.
In a world filled with exciting stories and happenings, Courtney and Colin’s wedding is a reminder that love is worth celebrating. We wish them nothing but happiness and endless joy in their new life together!
