Beaufort Film Society Announces Early-Bird Sale for 2025 International Film Festival Tickets

Beaufort Film Society Announces Early-Bird Sale for 2025 International Film Festival Tickets

The Beaufort Film Society (BFS), in a bid to attract enthusiastic film lovers, is introducing an early-bird sale of tickets for the 2025 Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF). This initiative targets its dedicated members, offering them an opportunity to bag the All-Events tickets at more than 20% off the standard BFS price of $299.

A Special Occasion in the Art Calendar

To be held from Feb. 18 through Feb. 23, 2025, the 19th edition of the BIFF will take place at the USC Beaufort, Center for the Arts at 805 Carteret Street, Beaufort. Previously, the 2024 BIFF welcomed a diversity of attendees from various countries, all united by their passion for cinema.

Nonmembers of the BFS are also encouraged to participate, as they can avail of the discount by joining the society when purchasing tickets. The minimum annual membership fee stands at $50.

More Than Just A Film Viewing

The festival serves as a platform for recognizing outstanding talent within the filmmaking industry. Distinct categories for awards presentation include Feature Film, Documentary — Short and Feature Length, Animation, Short Films, Student Films, Screenplays, and Best Musical Score. Furthermore, it includes categories for Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Actor, along with audience-favorite awards like Audience Choice and Best Comedy.

A Tribute to First Responders

In a notable gesture of appreciation, the festival will also feature its unique Duty and Honor Category, distinct from the others as it pays tribute to the invaluable contributions of the United States Military, Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue personnel, and other first responders and their families.

Special Events and Programs

The BIFF opens with a ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 18, with no ticket sales at the door for this event. The All-Events ticket is inclusive of admission to this opening ceremony, along with other film screenings scheduled for Feb. 19 through Feb. 22.

The engaging festival will build up to its grand finale, a Pre-Awards Champagne Reception and Awards Ceremony, at 4 p.m., on Sunday, Feb. 23, at the USCB Center for the Arts. No tickets will be sold at the door for this event, ensuring that all attendees have booked in advance.

For further details, membership inquiries, and ticket purchases, interested parties can visit the BFS website.
