BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. – A Shell Point man was arrested in connection to a deadly shooting incident on Thursday morning in Beaufort County. Brenden Elsila, aged 37, is now facing charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to local deputies.
The authorities responded around 6 a.m. on Thursday following a report of a domestic incident leading to a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, they found a woman dead at the scene. The suspect, Brenden Elsila, was also present at the location, leading to his detention by deputies.
Elsila currently remains held at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
