Exciting news is coming from Columbia, South Carolina! The Columbia Metropolitan Airport has announced plans to partner with a developer to construct a brand-new hotel right on airport property. According to Mike Gula, the president and CEO of the airport, this hotel will be a real game changer for travelers. “It will significantly ease the travel experience, particularly for those with early-morning or late-night flights,” he said. Gula highlighted the convenience of being able to arrive the night before, enjoy a restful stay, and then effortlessly walk to the terminal in the morning. Doesn’t that sound lovely?
