Columbia Gets Festive with an Elf Scavenger Hunt!
Hey there, Columbia! Are you feeling the festive vibes yet? If you’re looking for some holiday fun, you’re in luck. Our charming Main Street District has cooked up something truly special this season – a scavenger hunt featuring over 20 sneaky little elves hiding in various local businesses. Yes, you heard it right; it’s time to channel your inner elf hunter!
How It Works!
Gather your friends, family, or coworkers and hit the streets for this delightful scavenger hunt that stretches all through December. The idea is simple: you’ll need to search for elves tucked away in participating businesses. Once you spot one, whip out your phone, take a photo, and share it on your Instagram story. Don’t forget to tag @MainStColaSC and the account of the business where you found the elf – this step is crucial!
Every elf you find gives you another shot at some fabulous prizes! Participants can enter the giveaway as many times as they discover elves. How cool is that? So, if you find two elves, that’s two chances to win! Prizes include gift cards to the very businesses that are partaking in this festive fun.
The Holiday Spirit is Alive!
Kelsey Bickley, the Director of Marketing for the Main Street District, is brimming with excitement over the scavenger hunt. “We’re thrilled to have such a good mix of businesses participating in this inaugural Elf on a Shelf scavenger hunt,” she says. Kelsey continues, “Our goal is to generate some buzz on social media, promote the district as a holiday destination, and just have some fun this holiday season.” Sounds like a jolly good time to me!
