Stuffing the Sleigh for Animals
If you love animals, here’s a fantastic opportunity to help our furry friends! Join the Stuff the Sleigh for Final Victory Animal Rescue event on December 7 from 4–7 p.m. at The Dales Biergarten and Bottle Shoppe, located at 3150 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia. Bring along some pet supplies to donate, and enjoy the company of fellow animal lovers while you’re at it!

Art enthusiasts, rejoice! Alexandra’s Art Studio at 111 Sparkleberry Crossing Road offers an array of classes for adults and kids alike. Dancing into the Holidays
Why not dance your way through December? Join the Palmetto Scottish Country Dance every Monday from 6–7:45 p.m. at the Eastminster Presbyterian Community Life Center. All ages are welcome! Or try out the Adult Ballet Classes on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at the Columbia Music Festival Association. No experience? No problem! Everyone aged 12 and up is invited.
Festive Galore! Mark Your Calendars
The South Carolina Gingerbread House Competition is here on December 7 from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. at AIA Columbia, making it a sweet start to the festive season. And for those looking for a glamorous night out, Columbia Fashion Week is hosting its 4th Annual Met Gala and runway event on December 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Columbia Museum of Art. Grab your tickets before they disappear!
Historical Cheer
Looking to soak up some history this holiday? Enjoy Candlelight Tours of the historic Robert Mills House and the Hampton-Preston Mansion on December 6 from 6–9 p.m. There’s also a festive Columbia Christmas Pageant at the First Baptist Church of Columbia on December 14 and 15, perfect for gathering the family to celebrate.
