It’s hard to contain yourself when you’re talking about it. We just love the J!” she exclaimed. Hanks has seen the evolution of C.A. Notable alumni have emerged from C.A. Johnson, such as former NFL player Mike Jones and Charles Bolden, who served as NASA administrator and astronaut. Johnson is not just written in textbooks but is also shared and appreciated by the new generations of students. “A lot of times, we speak about the history and the impactful people that have graced the hallways here at C.A. Johnson High School, and we always put a strong focus on instruction,” Coe commented.

Senior Tyrek Smith expressed his thoughts on the school’s impact: “I just think that’s really wonderful. And what we knew was coming out of here and what had come out of here. So, we loved it.”
