RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. Identifies DUI Culprit in Fatal Collision

A 27-year-old woman named Sydney Ezelle has been arrested in Richland County, S.C., following a fatal two-car collision. Ezelle faces charges of felony DUI resulting in death, according to reports from the Columbia Police Department.

The Collision Incident

The accident happened on Broad River Road, near Lost Creek Drive. Officers on the scene reported that Ezelle was not only accused of impaired driving but also speeding at the time of the collision. This combination of factors is believed to have led to the tragic crash.

Victim Reported

One death has been confirmed in this incident, a 58-year-old woman. Her identity has not been revealed and will be formally addressed by the Richland County Coroner’s Office. More information will be released following the completion of their investigation.
